Bosch all set to Start Van-sharing Service this Year

The Germany-based automotive manufacturer, Bosch, has declared it’s set to unveil a van-sharing service within the country this year as a part of an endeavor to extend its interest within the pay-per-minute vehicle rental services business, Reuters reports.

As a results of the impact of smartphone-hailed rental technology that permits customers to use vehicles by the minute while not owning them, it’s caused the ladder between automotive makers and their suppliers to be considerably modified.

Bosch has confirmed it’ll collaborate with toom, a subsidiary of German distributer REWE, so as to provide delivery vans at hardware stores to permit purchasers to rent a van to move large purchases.

The company already operates electrical scooter rental service, Coup, in major cities like Paris, capital of Spain and Berlin and also the partnership with toom can see Hieronymus Bosch accelerate its interest in on-demand vehicle rental services.
